Book The Living Prince (Czech)

The author about the book:

I created the first fairy tale book about living food for children and adults together with Blanka Fišerová (author of the fairy tales) and Hanka Mičková (illustrator). The book contains fairy tales about living food and unique recipes, which are put into the book in the form of small illustrated books with procedures. The recipes are created from available ingredients and are so simple that you can do most of them without a blender.

There hasn't been a children's recipe book in this form yet and I enjoy creating extraordinary things. Both in content and form, without compromising and looking for simple solutions. The book is printed on recycled paper and is handmade. We spent about 1,5 years creating it and another 1,5 years looking for a way to publish such a unique book. And our dream came true.

I believe that the book will show you in a fun way how easy it is to eat better and nourish your body rather than filling it with meals full of calories but empty of nutrients. In fact, eating healthy and full of life is my passion and I pass it on in every possible way and one of them is this wonderful and original book.

IN OUR FAIRY TALES

In our fairy tales, you don't have to bake gingerbread, cook semolina porridge, chase frothy milk, Otesánek doesn't get tempted by the devil's annoyances, in short... The reader himself can revive Snow White with the help of the gifts of the goddess Živy hidden in a magic box, conjure up hundreds of nuts for Cinderella or relieve old Ježibaba from the duty of baking children in the oven in the gingerbread house...

WE WANT TO LEAVE A LIVING TRAIL AND INSPIRE YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN TO REVIVE YOUR DIET. IT'S VERY SIMPLE. SO LET YOURSELF BE FABULOUSLY SURPRISED.

It's our creative way of introducing readers to the world of natural food in an imaginative and playful way and inspiring them to revive their diets. We realise that this is one of many paths for us, full of colourful foods, new flavours and a plethora of combinations. And if the kids can make live chocolate, get excited about the wonders of fruit and vegetables, start to question what they are actually eating and still find it a miracle mission, then our goal will be fulfilled.

WHAT DOES THE BOOK LOOK LIKE?

The reader, who is a living prince himself, walks through a fairy tale world and it heals with his help too. Each chapter is a self-contained fairy tale and is enriched with a living mission - an inspiration to explore one's own surroundings and find healthy foods and superfoods. Recipes in the form of mini-books can be taken out and used on their own. Some recipes can be created without a blender, and the book can be used to draw and write in, jot down ideas and go on curious expeditions.

We love nature, its richness, and out of respect for it and out of love for children, this book was created for adults.
